What Is Teacher’s Day and Why Do We Celebrate It?

The joy of the relationship between a teacher and student can be celebrated on Teacher’s Day. Teachers and students in schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions now commemorate it with tremendous excitement and zeal. Students frequently congratulate their teachers. Today, there is a different method to recognize Teachers’ Day.
Students celebrate their favorite instructor on this special day in their own unique ways. Others congratulate their instructor via social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, video audio messages, e-mail, written messages, or online conversations. Some students congratulate their teacher by giving a pen, journal, card, etc.
By securing the future of the nation’s residents, teachers contribute to its construction. However, no one in society gave the instructors’ contribution any thought. However, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a brilliant Indian politician, deserves all the credit for suggesting that they observe his birthday as Teacher’s Day. Since 1962, September 5 has been recognized as Teachers’ Day each year.
In addition to instructing us, teachers help us develop our personalities, levels of confidence, and skills. They equip us with the skills necessary to handle any challenges. Everybody enjoys a special day like Teacher’s Day, but teachers and students especially do.
Students honor their professors on September 5th each year by participating in this celebration. In India, September 5 has been designated as Teacher’s Day. Due to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, our previous president, who was born on September 5, 1888, and his passion and devotion to the teaching profession, Teachers’ Day is observed on his birthday all across India.
He was renowned as a scholar, diplomat, teacher, and the President of India. He also had a strong belief in the value of education.
